Ensuring Quality Health Care:

Expand nursing and health related training programs throughout New Mexico

Promote programs that recruit and retain primary care providers in rural areas

Protect fragile safety net systems throughout the state including emergency medical services, community health centers, rural hospitals and trauma centers

Support CHIP (Children's Health Insurance Program), the Sole Community Provider Program and other federal/state health programs

Encourage quality improvement through the expansion of electronic medical records, evidence-based practices, and transparency in health care
